Another interesting info linked to the winter season: Arieseni is situated at altitude of 950 m, in the heart of Apuseni Mountains (Romanian Western Carpathians). Bucharest Romania - The Athenaeum

The Romanian Athenaeum is a work of French architect Albert Galleron.
When it was build as well as in recent restoration years, it was financed by the general public. Completed in 1888, it resembles an ancient temple.

As it is renowned worldwide for outstanding acoustics, the Romanian Athenaeum is Bucharest's most prestigious concert hall and home of the Romanian George Enescu Philharmonic.
